Pope & Prez in bed together?

Did Bushwack ask the Pope to sic his bishops on their flocks to provide pressure against same-sex marriage in the weeks leading up to the November election, including the push for a Constitutional amendment?

Too many jokes about getting down on his knees and supplication come to mind to list them all.

The White House refused to confirm or deny the report, stating only that the positions of the two parties regarding icky ideas that the gays have about going to the chapel are pretty damned close.
