A politician stupider than George Bush said that he thought a little girl's name meant "stupid, dirty girl." California Eductaion Secretary Richard Riordan said this to her face, apparently as an honest attempt to, uh, something. Really, my God, how stupid can one politician get?
Not to be outdone, Los Angeles Assemblyman Mervyn Dymally then called a press conference in which he'd be joined by civil rights groups to denounce Riordan's racist statement, but after learning that the girl the idiot called stupid and dirty was not black, he cancelled the press conference, leaving the impression that it's perfectly fine to call a white child a stupid, dirty girl.
Sorry, my head is spinning, I've completely lost track of... wait... let me re-read that again. Maybe it'll make sense the second time.
Nope. Still not.
