Coincidentally timed to coincide with Microsoft's announcement of its business communications server product, the big three instant messaging players will now communicate with each other, more or less. While the clients will not actually talk to each other (you won't be able to IM a Yahoo user from your AIM window) it manages to combine all your buddy lists into one so you can see that your friends are online, even if you can't talk to them.

Sooooo, in effect, um, they're not really integarted, only they are if you use MSN Messenger, but they're really not. I hope you're taking notes.
