Screw the debate rules, I'm coming out!

I bet somewhere in the 32 page document that said what Bush/Kerry could and couldn't do, it didn't mention "...and the president can't just change the terror alert color or throw a major fake speech if he loses one of these things."

But after hearing about this obvious attempt to get the last and final word and repair the damage, I'm thinking it'll go in the 2008 debate rules. Fucker.

Well, that is the incumbent advantage. It's the way the system works, for better or for worse.

It's a bit frustrating, yes, but let's face it: the people who are going to be swayed by fear-mongering and bluster are going to be swayed no matter what.
