All the cool internet kids are posting links to Jon Stewart on Crossfire, or if they're not yet, they soon will be. Generally here at GD World HQ we like to show you things you might have a tough time finding elsewhere, but this thirteen and a half minutes of television is the kind of thing that makes us believe in Santa Clause, rainbows and a the future. Stewart is unflinching in the face of insults and baiting and stays on message and acts as advocate for the American news consumer in a way we hope is trendsetting.
When the show began, I was soooo disappointed in CNN...for pandering. I agree with Stewart; the only difference is that he watches the show & I haven't been able to stomach it for any longer than 5 minutes.
Judy Woodruff's "Inside Politics" is a terrific show that immediately precedes this bit of garbage.

Stewart's only real sin, according to conventional wisdom in the current bizzaro world of journalism, was he wasn't entertaining. Obnoxious bias seems to be a virtue these days...
