Knowing a good thing when it sees it--or, rather, recognizing that 8,000,000 downloads is a hell of a lot more than the number of its new subscribers, AOL is going to use Mozilla's Firefox engine and release a new version of Netscape Navigator.

Microsoft is getting heat from every angle for letting its IE browser languish without a major upgrade in years, so AOL is jumping in by releasing not just one, but two browsers. In addition to Navigator, AOL Browser is based on IE but adds a few spicy extras, most effectively Firefox's and Opera's tabbed windows. Both browsers are expected to enter the new browser war by the end of the year

Would you like to check out my extension? It's called "LookAhead" and it's listed under the "Search Tools" on updata.mozilla.org

You might find it interesting...
