The Status Project is the work of British artists Heath Bunting and Kayle Brandon. The web site is just a piece of a larger work examining legal status of individuals in a post-9/11 world.
Frankly, the government would rather they didn’t.
The pair is assembling a database of the British citizenry based on logical and sometimes humorous relationships between one thing (You are a blood donor) and another (which means you are not an injector of drugs, taking antibiotics, a prostitute, gay or less than one year from having a piercing).
The ultimate goal? “The Status Project aims to aid those who seek change, for example moving from homelessness to a career in bank management, or from the legal identity of a 32-year-old American woman to a male Pakistani teenager.”
Me, I wanna be Donald Trump. I mean, not actually him, but have his money, his TV show, his hotels, his jet… but keep my own hair.
