Jeremy Jaynes was pumping out 10 million spam messages a day using 16 high-speed lines. He was grossing up to $750,000 per month. He was caught and broaught into court because he was using a pseudonym to do his dirty deeds, and in Virgina that’s a crime.
So for sending annoying email to millions of us, he’s been sentenced by a jury of his peers to nine years in prison.
His lawyers are appealing, saying that the law is an unconstitutional infringement on Mr. Jaynes free speech, which includes wanting to inform us all about Viagra, lonely housewives, big-breasted barely-legal teen sluts and low, low mortgage rates.
