Hey, you know all those cool online virtual real estate tours where you can check out the house you may want to buy in Boca Raton without even getting on a plane? Well, so do thieves, who are apparently also taking tours to case the houses and then go and break in and steal everything the current owners possess because there it all is, online, with helpful pointers to show them exactly where everything is.

Wondering if there’s an alarm panel? Go see! How much valuable art and antiques are there in that place? Take a look!

Real estate agents and the online companies providing these take-it-all-in virtual tours are poo-pooing the hubbub, but insurers are advising clients not to show too much of what they’ve got to offer online.

I’d make an analogy about porn stars, but I’m betting you already beat me to it.
