Heard of ZabaSearch.com? You will. David Lazarus in the SF Chronicle takes a look at a new search service that dives through personal records and produces results for any name you want to look up and subsequently stalk.
ZabaSearch doesn’t tell where it’s getting its info from, and although you can ask them to please remove your info from their databases, a disclaimer on the site says that they can’t guaranty that it won’t come back in the future as they expand their information sources.
The really weird or ironic or something part of it is the Heaven’s Gate connection, because the guys in charge of the site employed a few of the zanies who offed themselves to catch a Hale-Bopp comet UFO ride to heaven.
