Bloggers all over the blogosphere are blogging about ‘blog’ being chosen as “word of the year” by the Mirriam-Webster online (i.e. not the real one) dictionary.

Bloggers, tripping over themselves to note the vital role ‘blogs’ played in such important world events as the U.S. election (sic) and Ken Jennings’ loss on Jeopardy, would do well to remember that last year’s top word, ‘democracy’, is currently dressed up as a pony, hands on ankles, lubed to the gills and getting rammed up the ass with a rusty pipe by Donald Rumsfeld.
