On April 25th, Eric J. Wagner bought an Illinois Lottery ticket that he would soon learn was worth $37.5 million.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is that on April 22nd, he was the target of a U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives sting and was alledgedly caught selling nine guns and marijuana to an undercover agent who passed the guns to a man Wagner knew was a convicted felon.
Wagner is facing federal charges that could cost him 10 years in prison. On the bright side, he can now afford a damned good lawyer.
