Apple head honcho Steve Jobs told a bunch of Stanford grads, who just spent nearly $30k per year to capture their precious diplomas, that the best thing he ever did was drop out of college.

Jobs, with a net worth estimated at $3 billion, told the 5,000 graduates what a bunch of idiots they all were (I’m paraphrasing, here) for not studying calligraphy, like he did, and for spending all that time in classes listening to boring lectures instead of smoking pot and eating the free food of Hare Krishna cultists like he did.

Several graduates wore signs admonishing the billionaire to hire them, afraid that even with an expensive degree in poli-sci they’re not going to be able to find a job in the Bush economy unless they move to Bangalore.
