Ha ha, scared you, didn't I?

In a faraway and we will assume brain-damaged little town in New Hampshire, the voters go to the polls at midnight and, because there are exactly 26 of them in total, they announce who won there before anywhere else. And in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, where there are 11 registered Republicans, 2 Democrats and 13 Independents, George Bush receieved 19 votes to Kerry's 7.

In 2000, Gore received two less votes in the race, so the Democrats (both of them) in Dixville Notch are quite pleased. The hamlet has voted for the Republican candidate in every election since 1972.

Must be too much maple syrup on the brain or something.
